​In 2012, Nicole blazed into my world as my assistant and advanced coloring student. Nicole was was not a fresh adult, meaning I had a lot more in common with her than any of my other assistants ever. I think of it like this. We started out as Obi Wan Kenobi & Luke Skywalker turned Thelma & Louise, except we're not going to drive off a cliff. Now, you may think how we can be besties and be my employee. It's easy (at least for us)! We know when we walk into our workspace we shift our mindsets.

In all these years we've seen a lot of change. For one, we both had a baby. Mine was my second, at least from my own body. Her's was her first. We both escaped a toxic salon. Escaped may be a bit dramatic. But if you worked there you know what I mean. We survived my injuries, Nicole's dad's passing, recovering her dog that was stolen, Covid, Snovid, co-parenting with baby daddies, car thefts for us both (What are the odds?), my grandbaby born to parents too young, my lifelong ailments, etc. And, of course, this big business shift we've made, and we're all the better for it.
